Palm Beach R/C Powerboaters, Inc.
Official Club Website
Bobby & Steve Adams
A great father & son racing team!

Welcome to the Palm Beach R/C Power Boaters official website.

The RC boat club was formed in West Palm Beach in the late 1970s. In the beginning, it
was an informal gathering; just a place where people could go to run their radio control
boats and meet friends. Since then, the RC boat club has grown into a non-profit
organization and is sanctioned by the North American Model Boat Association (NAMBA).

We do require that you have NAMBA Insurance to join our RC boat club organization.
This is because the lake is sanctioned by NAMBA and therefore meets the Palm Beach
County Parks requirements. You also must have a club membership in order to use the
chase boat and other club equipment.

We do ask that you support our club through regular participation in our activities. The
club currently hosts one of the largest annual r/c races in the southeastern United States.
Our races consist of various classes of gas or nitro-powered remote control boats. Some
of these boats reach speeds of 70+ miles per hour! It is an exciting, family-oriented sport.

The Palm Beach R/C Power Boaters and the Palm Beach County Board of County
Commissioners Parks & Recreation Department worked together recently to relocate the
club’s RC boat race site to accommodate the club’s growing needs.

We look forward to meeting you.
